Technology, Spirituality and the Transhuman Future

A Talk by Thomas Meyer

Wednesday, November 15, 7:30pm

The character of Doctor Strader in Rudolf Steiner’s Mystery Dramas is linked to present-day problems and tasks like the development of new etheric energy at the disposal of all, facing evil, particularly facing Ahriman.

This talk will start with passages from the fourth drama and discuss the inspiration of Reinecke as an instrument to stop Strader. It will shed light on transhumanism as an Ahrimanic counter impulse of what should be developed as truly super-human faculties.

Thomas (“T.H.”) Meyer is the founder and publisher of Perseus Verlag, Basel, and editor of the monthly journal Der Europaer. He is the author of biographies of D. N.
