A for those working in the helping professions with biographical counselor, Margli Matthews

Explore the nature and meaning of trauma in biographical development and the challenges, sufferings and potential that it brings to our lives.

We will consider: the nature and impact of traumatic events, the interface between our individual wounds and the trials that belong to our time, the inner and outer resources and capacities needed to help someone suffering trauma, the phases and process of recovery, the forces of healing and transformation that arise out of the imagination of the human being that inspires biography work.

Talks and conversations on the theme will be accompanied by artistic and interactive exercises.

Margli Matthews is a biographical counselor, supervisor, trainer with many years experience in private practice. She directed the Diploma Course in Biographical Counseling in England for 20 years.
