Delmar McComb is Director of Horticulture for Suncrest Nurseries Inc. in Watsonville Ca where he has introduced environmentally friendly growing practices into this prominent and extremely diverse California wholesale nursery. He was also able to develop a Demeter Certified line of Biodynamically grown plants at Suncrest which is now available throughout California.
Delmar co-owns Blossom’s Biodynamic Farm with his partner Carin Fortin where they grow and process approximately 100 varieties of medicinal herbs which in turn are made into health and beauty care products. A long-time operatic tenor, he sings leading roles with opera companies around the state when he can spare the time.
